June - What’s Up Wednesday

Been on a big spinach and artichoke kick lately. I was hungry for a spinach, artichoke, cheesy, mushroomy something one day and typed allllll that in on Pinterest on a wish and a prayer and wouldn’t you know..it gave me THE best recipe! I love this because it’s ONE POT. literally even the noodles. All in. And the ONLY thing you cut is the chicken!! Everything else is dumped in. You can see the recipe here.

Extended the spinach/artichoke cheesiness to my weekly bread. So good.

I mean we eat a variety, but these were two meals still on my mind;)

That Farmers Market I keep talking about;)

A lifelong friend- who is now a carpenter- built this wall for me out of scrap wood to set up as a photo booth. And Philip had the job of hauling it around;)

Mrs. Kim’s set up was the cutest!

I had asked vendors to send in riddles or clues to add to a “Scavenger Hunt” for the kids at the Market. This made it interactive for them and insured each booth was visited by the families:)

Vendors also had small giveaways for the kids to add to their market bags:)

Some even had an activity for them.

Also. I feel like this is the perfect time to talk about how much I’m enjoying all my favorite influencers moving out of California and SWEATING. I feel like every day they ask themselves if the tax break is actually worth all this humidity. Hahaha!

Well I was dreading Landry’s first dentist visit, but she was amazing!!

She was a big fan of the prizes for being a big girl:)

A new town event!! So excited to bring an outdoor movie to DeQuincy. It just so happens that our park/community area is at our Railroad Museum:)

The beginning has a little catchy (bada-bwap-bwap) tune and Philip can mimmic anything and started singing along AND NOW LANDRY DOES TOO! And she thinks it’s as funny as we do!! That’s how she’ll ask to watch it:)

Dying to read this! If you don’t have a 2 year old and a 6 month old, read it!! I can bet it’s SO good!!

Landry talk!! I got my first “watch me mama” tonight and I can’t imagine it getting old, but I said it enough as a child that I know that it’s possible. haha I love hearing all she has to say!! Her voice is so sweet, even if she’s saying no;)

That’s what’s happening lately! A lot of our daily lives is wrapped up in our two blue-eyed girls and it’s such a sweet time. I’m so thankful for right now. It’s the now I’ve always wanted:)
