Friday Favorites!
What a week! I can’t believe this is my last Friday home. I’ve been home with my girls since December 19th! This extended maternity leave was wonderful, challenging, and so so sweet! I’m so thankful that I’ve gotten not only this time to love on Logan, but also extra stolen time with Landry. I don’t want to think about all I would have missed had I not been home with them these last few months. But here we are, one week of Summer left! I am happy knowing that I have thoroughly kissed, loved on, snuggled and enjoyed my time with my sweetheart girls:)

So there’s a little rubber duck in Landry’s hand that happens to be RIGHT behind Declan’s head. It was an end of school thing where you would take a picture with it at some point in the summer where you were most relaxed and then it would be shared at the beginning of the coming year. Truly, nothing feels relaxed right now. Three under three;) BUT if we could pinpoint when and where we all feel the most relaxed..it would be HOME and TOGETHER. If you don’t know me personally…home is spread across our three houses within a quarter mile from each other:) This happens to be at Lovie’s which is where we spend a lot of our evenings together. It is not our turn to feel relaxed during summer, but gosh it’s fun!

I looked at busy Logan the other night and actually out loud said “Philip, she isn’t a baby!” It was a sad realization, but also..just look at her! A sweet, learning and growing girl!! THAT’s a favorite:)
Man this picture sums up our week..tissues strewn about for runny noses, Vick’s under those socks, but happy as can be!
Looked over at a birthday party and not only was Happy Go Logan in another lap, she was drinking out of her big girl cup! This chick skipped a bottle all together! She’s just acting so BIG! I’m so proud of her!
A total mess.. but look, even giving her big sister a ride!
Just reading in her playhouse and she kept bringing me the sweetest flowers and smiles:)

Killer Kale Salad by Pioneer Woman is THE BEST. I’m a fan of a quick and easy salad, but this is worth every extra step! This was my contribution to Momma’s meal which was the quickest and easiest Tortellini Soup!
I think my most favorite thing Philip cooks these days is his Jalapeño + Cheese Stuffed Chicken Thighs wrapped in bacon! I added Roasted Garlic Pepper Jelly from a local farm when it when it was straight off the grill and it was the BEST! If you’re local..Figs + Feathers Acres has the best jellies and infused olive oils!
My next Friday Favorites will fall on my first day back to school. Prayers are appreciated for me and my girls (and Lovie and Sukie). It’s going to be a huge shift for us all!
