HAPPY OCTOBER 1st! I love the 1st of every month!
Linking up with a few favorites from the past couple of weeks. All week long, I thought it was Friday. Now that it’s here, it feels like it should already be a whole new week! A five day school week will really throw you;)

Ahh, the first “official” day of Fall! It was a beautiful one! and me and my girl were matching for the occasion:)

We had an early birthday dinner for Philip with our families and he says this will always be his standing request. Shrimp Étouffée over steak, potatoes and a Caesar Salad:)
Landry wanted Daddy to have a candle to blow out. So after we did presents, we sang him Happy Birthday and this chick beat him to blowing out the candle! When we asked if she made a wish..she said “Yes! For CAKE!” hahaha pretty safe wish.
If you’re wondering about Landry’s dress of choice, it was mine. Came from Lovie’s one day, I hid it because she wanted to wear it EVERY day and she found it. So there we were for Philip’s birthday on a Saturday afternoon and….
here she is feeling EXTRA beautiful for church Sunday morning. It’s Fall. She’s in bunnies and puffy sleeves. It’s fine:)

This one should truly be a favorite all its own. Last year, the storm took Philip’s outdoor shower he built (along with the east side of our house) and he just got it back up and running! I’m so glad that outdoor showers are a thing at our house again!!
A picture from “Lovie Care”. Landry also thinks SHE should be the one to get to “wake” Logan now. She wants to climb in after Logan’s nap and get her up and don’t think she won’t fight you for the job:) Logan’s happy about it!
Speaking of Logan naps…this little girl is a pro sitter upper…I walked in her room to lay her down the other night and Philip had lowered her mattress and man I wasn’t ready for that!
Before this day… on this day… and every day after, I have prayed so hard to be able to smell this sweet baby girl. Finally, on Wednesday morning of this week, I was able to snuggle her and smell her sweet baby smell! It was like experiencing this moment all over again.. but even better because I know her and it wasn’t directly after labor;)
Next month will make a year since I’ve had smell and taste. In the last month it’s been in and out, but never fully back. All I wanted was to smell her so I didn’t have to return her for a new one;) I’m hoping it sticks!!
What a sweet girl!!

Our town Farmers Market (that has grown into a sort of Fall Fest) is next weekend!
