Friday Favorites!
Happy Friday!! Man, we are one week into school and I feel like a teacher that’s been…well through one week of school! Ha! I have a great group of students this year! There’s just like…. so many of them;)
School: Week One means one full week of being away from my girls for 8ish hours a day. No breaks. This is NOT a favorite, BUT how well they’ve done with my mom and mother-in-law is a total favorite! I’m so proud of them!!
Lovie’s pictures throughout the whole day make me so happy! One day, I was leaving and Landry said “Have great day, Mommy!” :) Lovie Care also has Lovie’s Nails;)
Gosh, to get a smile like that sent to me..it’s just the best!
During Logan’s morning nap, Suesue’s time with Landry is spent learning the bible lesson that she taught the Sunday before to her Sunday School class. Landry gets so excited to tell all about it when I get home!
All smiles for Mommy’s first full day of work! I have to tell Landry I’m going to work.. if I slip up and say that I’m going to school “I come! I come Mommy” :)
Now that school has started… the weekend is just a whole favorite. We pack in a lot of snuggles and fun in those two days!
During Logan’s first nap Sunday morning, we went for a ride and ended up of course playing with Declan:) They love each other so much and get really excited to see one another!
Around lunchtime, we got ready and went to a 50’s Day Fish Fry at our church complete with our own “Barbershop Quartet”. It was so cute and so fun and it’s just amazing to see how our church family has grown in the last few years! …babies EVERYWHERE!
That evening, we went to Philip’s parents’ for dinner and swimming! At least Bieber Girl is smiling:)

Another morning visit with Deck..but switched kids;)
Then we got ready for church and had a little Sunday morning photo shoot!

A comparison of my sweet girls:) Landry and Logan both at 7 months..Landry may have been a little older. So similar, but different too!
Speaking of comparison pictures.. At some point in the week, I received THIS from Philip and it made my day!!
EVERY time the girls are down and sometimes throughout the day, I do a 10 minute reset. @minimalistmotherhood shows her resets on IG often and it has stuck with me! It really doesn’t take long to just wipe down and put away and then I feel like I’m so much more productive during their naptime orrrrrr it helps me get a good rest and still feel accomplished:)
But the fact that I wasn’t home and Philip did one for me….I was SO happy to get this!
We were playing outside after school one day and Landry got the chalk out. I went to kennel our dog, Tugger, so he wasn’t all over her while drawing. So I walked around the corner of the house and did that and came back to THIS!! I said “LANDRY!! What did you write??? She said “I write ABCs Mommy!” haha! Well okay, but it looks a whole lot like l o v e to me!
And nothing, I mean NOTHING beats when Philip and I are both finally home from work and this happens…
Landry usually hits him at the door with a big hug so this was after that and during Logan’s own celebration of him being home:) I get home at the end of Landry’s nap so it’s not nearly as exciting…this definitely is the highlight of my girls’ day! and mine:)
